Step 1: Download the Designer App from the Andriod or Apple Store [LINK]

Step 2: Turn on the black Pro2 controller (switch on left side)

Step 3: Check to make sure your controller is connected to WiFi

Test this by connecting your phone to WiFi and then using the old P2 App to control the lights. The controller must be in an area with WiFi in order to receive the update.

Step 4: Open the Designer App – it will automatically scan for the latest firmware version, select “YES” when prompted to update to the latest Designer App – it will take a while to update

If it does not search and update the first time, force stop or “kill” the app and re-start. NOTE: once you update the app to Designer, the P2 App will no longer control the controller. When updating, it is normal to see the LED strip above the LCD to stay on continuously and not display a pattern yet.

Step 5:  Select the Zone by pressing ▼ next to “All Zones” to select the desired Zone

By default the system is set to “All Lights” – if you have created your own Zones, they will be listed here. To turn ON a zone, toggle it to BLUE. To turn OFF a zone, toggle it to GREY.

To play a new pattern on a zone, make sure the zone is toggled on BOTH on/blue AND select the box to the right with a ✓
